I am far from perfect. But I will be perfect for that imperfect someone who will be perfect for me.

Hiatus, over

What’s motivated me to start blogging again? Two things.

Firstly, I’m three days shy of my six month anniversary of moving to Hong Kong; I’ve explored so many beautiful grounds, experienced new adventures and tasted local (and not-so-local) delicacies. Already I am starting to forget some of those experiences. Hopefully this blog will capture some of those memories as I continue to explore, live, work and have fun in Hong Kong.

Secondly, I’ve missed writing and rambling. I’m certainly no poet when it comes to writing, and at times my vocabulary (and grammar, as some of my friends would say) needs a bit of brushing up. But, I like to watch the sentences flow as I try to convey my thoughts and feelings through words.

So, to a new chapter in this life; here we go.

Sometimes being a friend means mastering the art of timing. There is a time for silence. A time to let go and allow people to hurl themselves into their own destiny. And a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it’s all over.

I won’t say the words you want to hear. You’ll have to find closure some other way.

Like the way I treat all new relationships…

Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn’t fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go.
